Built by someone who actually won.

Litigant In Person was founded after a three-year legal battle against a major FCA-regulated financial firm — a battle that ended with a judgment in the High Court.

The firm had ignored clear signs of vulnerability for years, continued to accept deposits it should have refused, and never once verified income or savings in over 40 months. The losses were over £1 million.

During that fight, one thing became clear: the rules were on our side all along. What was missing was someone who knew how to put it together in the right language.

That is what this platform does. It takes your facts and turns them into the kind of document that firms and courts take seriously.

FAQ
Common Questions
Do I need any legal knowledge to use these tools?+
No. You just describe what happened in plain English. The AI handles the legal structure, identifies the relevant rules, and formats the document correctly.
Are these documents legally valid?+
The documents follow correct legal structure and cite accurate statutes and rules. They are designed to be reviewed and used directly. However, Litigant In Person is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. For complex or high-value matters we recommend having a qualified solicitor review your document before filing.
What courts do the Particulars of Claim cover?+
Small Claims Track (under £10,000), Fast Track (£10,000–£25,000), and Multi-Track including the High Court (over £25,000). The correct track is auto-detected from your claim value. Employment Tribunal claims are also supported.
Can I use this against a bank or financial firm?+
Yes — financial mis-selling is one of our strongest categories. The tools cite FSMA 2000, COBS rules, FCA Principles, FG21/1 vulnerability guidance, and the Consumer Duty. These are the exact rules that FCA-regulated firms are required to follow.
What if the firm ignores my complaint letter?+
If a firm does not respond satisfactorily within 8 weeks, you can refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) free of charge. Our Pro plan includes an FOS escalation letter. If FOS does not resolve it, you can issue court proceedings using our Particulars of Claim tool.
Is my information kept private?+
Yes. Your information is used only to generate your document and is not stored, shared, or sold.
